Interactive Zorro Online Lecture Companion

The Interactive Zorro Online Lecture Companion is a dynamic digital platform designed to deepen engagement with the opera for a broad audience. In addition to its public-facing exploration features, the platform includes a dedicated High School Mode tailored for structured classroom use.

The platform includes:

  • High School Mode with two pathways: Performance Preparation and Interdisciplinary Study

  • Guided topic navigation through a structured left-panel framework

  • An integrated chatbot for expanded classroom discussion and clarification

  • Embedded audio excerpts for guided listening

  • Extended historical and musical context

The Performance Preparation and Interdisciplinary PDF guides are also accessible within the Companion platform, allowing teachers to move fluidly between interactive exploration and printable classroom resources.

Implementation

Presenting companies may choose to:

  • Share this page directly with participating schools

  • Interdisciplinary Study (ELA + History + Music)

    • Connects the opera to narrative analysis, historical context, and musical expression through a structured guiding question.

 

Both pathways are designed to support flexible classroom use across grades 9–12.
